Subject: Bill 192 SUPPORT
The need for usable mass transit services in Hawaii County is great and the need will only
continue to increase in the coming years with inevitable shifts in resource use away from
dependency on private motor vehicles.
Mass Transit services in Hawaii County are now, at best, perfunctory; and of service to
only a tiny porportion of the County's residents.
Park/Ride facilities is one of the many needs for bringing the Hawaii County Mass Transit
Agency up to a standard of service that can make mass transit a viable option for travel.
