RE; Kuleana Land Tax Exemption - Bill 207
Dear Hawaii County Council Members,
As a kuleana land owner myself, I support this bill or any bill for that matter that would
bring some relief for kuleana land owners specific to Hawai'i Island.
However, I don't think any of you should be voting on this bill unless all of you are
properly educated on the history of Kuleana Land. Kepa Maly is very knowledgeable in
this area. You might want to have him come and give the Council a short history course
on Kuleana lands.
