RE: Transmitting Bill 204, Draft 2 relating to Dividing of Leleiwi Beach Park into
Two New Beach Parks, Name these Two New Parks Pursuant to Chapter 15,
Article 8 and to Retain Current Provisions for Consumption of Intoxicating
Liquors Pursuant to Chapter 14, Article 1 of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005
Edition, as Amended)
Attached please find Draft 2 of Bill 204, relating to procedure for naming parks and recreational
facilities. This draft contains the friendly amendment to Bill 204 that was made by Council
during its meeting on December 19, 2007.
The purpose of the amendment was to retain Leleiwi Beach Park in the parks and recreational
facility schedule.
