RE: A Resolution Urging the Hawaii State Legislature to pass H.B. 1577 H.D.1
Relating to Genetically Modified Coffee
Attached for your consideration is a resolution supporting H.B.1577 H.D.1 to temporarily
prohibit the growing of genetically modified coffee for a period of five years and, at the same
time, permit research in an environmentally secure facility.
Please place this matter before the appropriate committee to meet on January 8, 2008.
