Dear Chairman Hoffmann,
This letter is to inform you that I have requested the USDA APHIS WILDLIFE SERVICES to provide a
status update of the County of Hawaii funded Feral Pig Trapping Program as required by Resolution 134-
07, Draft 2. USDA will give us an update regarding expenditures to date, as well as the results of the
trapping program by regions. They will also provide the test results of the blood samples taken from the
captured animals.
Mr. Mazk Ono and Mr. Shayne Veriato will be making the presentation on behalf of USDA. They will
appear at the Committee on Human Services and Economic Development meeting scheduled for
Januazy 8, 2008.
