A 12ESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the Elderly Activities Division has requested new global folding metal
padded chairs for the Kohala Senior Center; and
WHEREAS, the current chairs need to be replaced as they aze not only aged, but also
damaged and unsafe to use; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation, Elderly Activities Division, to be used towards the
purchase of 100 new global folding metal padded chairs for the Kohala Senior Center; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $2,500
CREDITED TO:
010.500.5519.72 Department of Parks and Recreation $2,500
EAD Recreation OCE
Educational/Recreational/Scientific Supplies
(Kohala Senior Center Chairs)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this resolution
to the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance
is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
