Re: Capital Budget Ca
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Capital Budget by appropriating an
additional $50,000 to the Queen Lili'uokalani Village Large Capacity Cesspool project.
Additional funding is requested to complete the design of the on-site portion of the
collection system for the Queen Lili'uokalani Village subdivision to the off-site sewer
system which in turn will connect to the Kona Sewer system at Keanalehua Street
($30,000) and for a contingency fund to cover possible additional design work as the
project progresses ($20,000). This brings the appropriation from $850,000 to $900,000.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of Environmental
Management.
