MA ; PPOLICE CHIEF SUBJECT: MARIJUANA ERADICATION MISSION FOR THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER, 2007 The Hawaii Police Department conducted marijuana eradication missions on November 26, 2007, in East Hawaii and November 27, 2007 in West Hawaii. As required by Resolution No. 46-01, reports indicating the number of plants eradicated and the number of complaints received from the public, the type of complaint and the complaint disposition are attached. Reports that choppers are below the legal limit, but could not provide an estimated altitude. Expressed his frustration of trying to enjoy his only day off with the noise in the area. Described the choppers as being a black, green and yellow in color. Could not see any deployed ropes. Reports that choppers were in the area for the past hour. His dog ran from the residence due to manuevering chopper. Is concerned about welfare of neighbors parrots that have been excited due to noise.
