RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF ROAD LOTS "A," "B" AND "C" OF
THE KAHA`OLINO SUBDIVISION, SITUATE IN KALAOA, NORTH KONA, COUNTY
AND STATE OF HAWAII, IDENTIFIED AS TAX MAP KEY: (3)7-3-005:165, FROM
KAHA`OLINO PARTNERS, LLC.
WHEREAS, KAHA`OLINO PARTNERS, LLC is the owner of:
Road Lot "A" (Ki`eki`e Street) 27,879 sq. ft.
Road Lot "B" (Aka`ula Street) 34,711 sq. ft.
Road Lot "C" (`Ili `Ili Street) 24,338 sq. ft.
situate at Kalaoa, North Kona, County and State of Hawaii, specifically identified as Tax Map
Key: (3)7-3-005165, being more particularly described in Exhibits 1, 2 and 3, and delineated on
Exhibit 4 attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, Kaha`olino Partners, LLC was required to improve to County dedicable
standards and dedicate said subdivision roads to the County of Hawaii pursuant to Condition F
of Ordinance No. 02-62; and
WHEREAS, Kaha`olino Partners, LLC is desirous of dedicating the subject roadways to
the County of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the
Council, on behalf of the County of Hawaii, may accept gifts which include the dedication of
land on behalf of the County of Hawaii.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII, that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter,
that the County of Hawaii accepts:
Road Lot "A" (Ki`eki`e Street) 27,879 sq. ft.
Road Lot "B" (Aka`ula Street) 34,711 sq. ft.
Road Lot "C" (`Ili `Ili Street) 24,338 sq. ft.
situate at Kalaoa, North Kona, County and State of Hawaii, specifically identified as Tax Map
Key: (3)7-3-005165, being more particularly described in Exhibits 1, 2 and 3, and delineated on
Exhibit 4 attached hereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to
(1) Mayor Harry Kim; (2) the Department of Public Works; (3) Assistant Corporation Counsel
Gerald Takase; and (4) Kaha`olino Partners, LLC, P.O. Box 9013, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 96745.
