A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, Coordinated Services for the Elderly maintains a comprehensive and
coordinated system of services for older individuals; and
WHEREAS, these services include promoting maximum independence and dignity in a
home environment, through employment and volunteer opportunities, nutrition services, support
services, and multi-purpose senior centers; and
WHEREAS, the Elderly Activities Division has requested support and assistance in
purchasing various equipment items for the West Hawaii office; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation, Elderly Activities Division to purchase a Lap Top
Computer, LD. Softwaze /PVC Card Printer and accessories to enhance their ability to service
elderly clients in West Hawaii; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
Following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Director of Finance and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
