Public Safety and Parks and Recreation Committee
Re: Presentation on January 23, 2008
I would like to request that a meeting of the Public Safety and Parks and Recreation Committee
be scheduled for January 23, 2008. Ms. Dolly Strazer, Executive Director of the Lyman House
Museum would like to make a presentation before the Committee, regarding the museum's
newest endeavor, the Island Heritage Gallery. This exhibit, which will chronicle the history and
cultures of our island, is in the planning and design stage.
I estimate that we will need approximately 45 minutes for her presentation, allowing time for
questions and comments from the Committee members.
