Re: Resolution for a multi-year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year for
one (1) copier for the Office of Aging. Their current copier is generating unsuitable copies
and is beyond repair. They wish to replace it with a comparable copier with a higher
capacity to meet the steady increase/demand in their office.

A. REQUEST:
To enter into a multi-year lease agreement for five (5) years, for a copy machine.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (Use additional sheets as needed):
The current copier is beyond repair. Copies have shadow images on them and cannot be used in a
professional environment. The Office of Aging is looking for a comparable copier with a higher capacity, to
meet the steady increase/demand in the office, as a replacement. Sufficient funds are budgeted for the fiscal
year 2008.
