In this fiscal year's Operating Budget, $400,000 is being transferred from the Highway Fund into its Capital Projects Fund for this project. However, the current CIP appropriation for this project is at $200,000. The enclosed bill increases the project's appropriation from $200,000 to $400,000. Since the monies have already been approved for transfer to the Highway Fund's Capital Projects Fund, the Department of Public Works would like to request a waiver from the Finance Committee and to have this bill heard at the Council Meeting scheduled for January 24, 2008. If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of Public Works. William Tak ba Director of Finance APPROVED: &r Harry Kim Mayor Comm. No. ~J S Enc. Ref. To Ref.
