RE: Proposed Amendments to the "Rules of Procedure and Organization of the
Council of the County of Hawai `i Rule No. 12, Disclosure of Interest
Attached for your consideration is a resolution to amend the "Rules of Procedure and
Organization of the Council of the County of Hawai `i specifically Rule No. 12, Disclosure of
Interest.
Please note that proposed changes to Rule No. 12, Disclosure of Interest, are included in the
attachment to the resolution that is labeled as "Exhibit A". Ramseyer format is utilized within
"Exhibit A"; material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken through, material to be added is
underlined.
I request that this matter be placed on the Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations
Committee agenda for February 5, 2008. Please allot approximately 30 minutes for deliberative
purposes.
