SUBJECT: Approval of an Appropriation Ordinance to Amend Ordinance
No. 07-82, as Amended, the Operating Budget for the County
of Hawaii for Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2008, Authorizing
the increase of $2,884,680 in the Housing Assistance
Payments Fund and Appropriating $2,884,680 in the Housing
Subsidies Expenditure Account
The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) submitted an
Appropriation Ordinance to Amend Ordinance No. 07-82, as Amended, the
Operating Budget for the County of Hawaii for Fiscal Year Ending June
30, 2008, Authorizing the Increase of $2,884,680 in the Housing
Assistance Payments Fund and Appropriating $2,884,680 in the Housing
Subsidies Expenditure Account.
The Hawaii County Housing Agency reviewed and approved the
appropriation ordinance at its meeting on January 23, 2008, and voted
as follows:
AYES: B. Ford, S. Higa, D. Ikeda, B. Jacobson, E. Naeole,
A. Pilago, D. Yagong, J Yoshimoto, P. Hoffmann - 7
NOES: None
ABSENT AND EXCUSED: None
Accordingly, I am requesting that this appropriation ordinance be
included on the Council agenda for action at its February 6, 2008,
meeting.
