Planning's portion of unbudgeted contract with National Charrette Institute to conduct in-house, County of
Hawaii training on Dynamic Planning.
Funds are currently available for transfer from the Regular S&W accounts in Planning due to vacant positions.
NCI Dynamic Planning training will benefit planning department staff in that the charrette training will provide
staff with critical skills involving project scoping, management, implementation as well as invaluable charrette
planning. These skills will directly relate to ongoing departmental needs for Community Development Plan
implementation, and staff capacity building -helping to achieve departmental program objectives.
