Subject: Taro protection and GMO coffee
The genes of the taro belong to the Hawaiian community, not to university researchers. Please protect this
natural resource for Hawaiians and allow them to decide what research is done with their plants.
I also support a current ban on GMO coffee until we fully understand the implications of GMO foods and the
potential markets for these foods.
