ON DEVELOPING, TESTING, PROPAGATING, CULTIVATING, GROWING, AND RAISING OF
GENETICALLY MODIFIED TARO IN THE STATE OF HAWAII

GMO Taro would forever modify the ancestor of our native Hawaiian brothers and sisters. It would alter
a nutritious staple crop of all people. It would add potentially
allergenic proteins to one of the most non-allergenic foods there are. It is morally indefensible and
possibly ecologically disastrous. Please continue to support resolution 462-08.
