Dear Chairman Hoffmann and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Ms. Terri R. Markovich of Council District 1 to the
County of Hawai'i Public Access, Open Space and Natural Resources
Preservation Commission. Ms. Markovich is a 35-year resident of Hawaii. She
owns her own business, Teri's Custom Sewing, where she works as a
seamstress/upholsterer.
Ms. Markovich is the secretary of the Ahualoa Community Association, and a
board member of Recycle Hawaii. She states that she is not affiliated with any
political party. If confirmed, Ms. Markovich will serve a term to end on
December 31, 2012, replacing Kenneth Kaneshiro, whose term expired on
December 31, 2007.
