SUBJECT: Approval of a Resolution Authorizing the Exemption of
Certain Code Requirements Pursuant to Sections 201H-38
and 201H-44 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes for the
Proposed West Hawaii Emergency Housing Program in
Kailua-Kona
The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) submitted
a Resolution Authorizing the Exemption of Certain Code
Requirements Pursuant to Sections 201H-38 and 201H-44 of the
Hawaii Revised Statutes for the Proposed West Hawaii Emergency
Housing Program in Kailua-Kona.
The Hawaii County Housing Agency reviewed and approved the
resolution at its meeting on February 5, 2008, and voted as
follows:
AYES: B. Ford, D. Ikeda, B. Jacobson, E. Naeole,
A. Pilago, D. Yagong, J Yoshimoto, P. Hoffmann - 8
NOES: None
ABSENT AND EXCUSED: S. Higa - 1
Accordingly, I am requesting that this resolution be included on
the Council agenda for action at its February 21, 2008, meeting.
