Dear Chairman Hoffmann and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to renominate Ms. Tricia Malanka of Council District 7 to the
County of Hawai'i Board of Ethics. Ms. Malanka is a three-year resident of
Hawai'i. She is an independent contractor working as a realtor. From 1992 to
2005, she was a flight attendant for American Airlines.
Ms. Malanka is a planning committee member of the Robert Lynn Sayre
Foundation, and a silent auction committee member of the Aloha Hawaiian Night.
She states that she is a registered Democrat. Ms. Malanka was confirmed to this
commission in January, 2007 to serve the remainder of a vacant term that ends
on December 31, 2007. She is eligible to be reappointed for another term to end
on December 31, 2012.
