Re: Resolution to Create Account Number
Enclosed is a resolution to open a rescue equipment account number for the
state-funded West Hawaii Lifeguard Services program.
Approval for this transfer of funds to purchase rescue equipment has been
received from the Department of Land and Natural Resources.

And appropriate funds as follows:
Decrease $20,000 FROM account no.010-500-5513.22-339, W. HI Lifeguard Serv -Insurance
Increase $20,000 TO account no. 010-500-5513.26-458, W. HI Lifeguard Serv -Rescue Equip.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION /USE ADDITIONA CH FTC AC N DFDI~
With [he carry over from prior years, and the lower general liability insurance premiums,
there is S[a[e Funds in the insurance account that can be utilized to replace and upgrade
Rescue Equipment.
Approval was requested and received from State of Hawaii, department of Land and Natural
Resources, State Parks Administrator, Ralston Naga[a [o revise cos[ categories to allow the
purchase of [he rescue equipment.
