Re: Ordinance to Appropriate Fund Balance
Enclosed is an ordinance to appropriate $200,000 from the Vehicle Disposal
Fund Fund Balance for the cleanup of tires and scrap metal from abandoned
vehicles. The accumulation of tires at both the East and West Hawaii collection
sites poses a hazard, and the additional fund will allow for quicker removal.

B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Additional funds will be used for cleanup of tires and scrap metal from abandoned vehicles. The
