Testimony offered February 4,2008
Please pass Bill 224.
My name is Jim Crowe, I have been providing direct, encouraging, educational services to
youth for many years. Even unsophisiticated youth understand how helpful it will be to
have public places free of tobacco smoke.
Often, young people under eighteen do explain this very well to their parents and other
adults.
Please support our youth in their child-like wisdom. They'll say that tobacco smoke is
harmful to youth and other living creatures.
I must commend the Council for addressing this important issue. Please accept this as
written testimony in support of this bill.
