Mahalo nui loa! This note of importance, is in regards to the Honokaa County Arena. This is only 1 of 3 equestrian county parks on island, which is actively used by the community, Hawaii Saddle Club and Hawaii Quarter Horse Association. The Honokaa County Arena / Park is an area of great use and of great significance to our island community. It was brought to our attention that a five( 5 ) acre parcel of land, which is directly adjacent to the arena will be going up for sale by owner; Ernest De Luz. We are of the mind, that should the County of Hawaii consider efforts in acquiring this parcel, it would create and open up an endless amount of opportunities for our community, equestrian clubs & organizations. This acquisition would be so beneficial for the future of our keiki's as well as the preservation & perpetuation of the Paniolo heritage. Your kokua would be greatly appreciated. AGAIN, mahalo in advance for your consideration. Sincerely, Steven, Lynn, & Tehani Grasso Kamuela, Hawaii 96743 HQHA member See what's free at AOL.com. Comm ` 7a Ref. To:" Ref.
