HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 543 Draft 01 2006-2008 _ ..e COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII 1•• „~O~~M~ RESOLUTION NO. 543 d8 A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) WHEREAS, the Keaukaha Community Association has requested funds to purchase a video surveillance system for the Kawananakoa Center; and WHEREAS, the Kawananakoa Center has in past experienced vandalism; and WHEREAS, the video surveillance system may reduce crime as it will deter vandalism and theft and may help with the identification and the possible prosecution of the perpetrator(s); and WHEREAS, the surveillance system will ultimately help to protect valuable assets and sensitive areas of the Kawananakoa Center; and WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to the Department of Parks and Recreation to be used towards the purchase of video surveillance system for the Kawananakoa Center; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: FlTND: General AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION: $15,000 OUT AND FROM: 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-council SVC -Contingency Relief $15,000 CREDITED TO: 010.500.5507.06 Department of Parks and Recreation $15,000 Recreation Div. Equip, Misc. Equipment (Video Surveillance System - Kawananakoa Center) BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this resolution to the Director of Pazks and Recreation and Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
