It is my pleasure to nominate Richard J. Behenna of Council District 6 tee=the c::'
Hawaii County Police Commission. Mr. Behenna is a 25-year resident of Hawaii.
Since 1997, he has been employed by Community Perspectives as a consultant.
Mr. Behenna is the president of the Volcano Health Collaborative. He is a past
president of the Mental Health Association in Hawaii and a past vice president of
the Queen Liliuokalani Childrens Center Advisory Committee.
Mr. Behenna states that he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed,
he will serve a term to end on December 31, 2012, replacing Ms. Florence
"Betsy" Mitchell, whose term expired on December 31, 2007. If you have any
