Bill No. 229, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 983, dated
January 24, 2008, amends Ordinance No. 07-82, as amended, the Operating Budget of the County of Hawaii,
ending June 30, 2008. The amendment is as follows:

the Mayor is already authorized to apply for, receive and expend the funds for the project identified in the
Operating Budget.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 229, and recommends it pass
first reading.
