Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 521-08, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 521-08, transmitted by Council Member Bob Jacobson, via Communication
No. 986, dated January 22, 2008, authorizing an agreement among the County of Hawaii,
National Association of Counties (NACo), (whereas the Counties of Hawaii, Maui, Kauai, and
the City and County of Honolulu comprise the organization entitled the Hawaii State
Association of Counties (HSAC) to which HSAC is a member of NACo), and CazemazkPCS
Health L.P. (Cazemazk) relating to a prescription drug discount card prograzn for the residents of
Hawaii County.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 521-08,
and recommends its adoption.
