Subject: Bill No. 225, Draft 2 (Relating to Geothermal Relocation Program)
Attached please find Bill 225, Draft 2, relating to the Geothermal Relocation Program. This
draft contains the amendment to Draft I increasing the minimum amount required to be
maintained by the fund from $200,000 to $1,000,000, which was approved by the Council on
February 21, 2008.
The amendment to section 2-181 was ramseyered and shown in bold font as follows:
"Section 2-181, Expenditures from fund.
The proceeds from the fund shall he used for the necessary expenses in
administering and carrying out the purposes of the geothermal relocation and
community benefits program. A minimum balance of f$300,0001 $1,000,000
shall be maintained in the fund for expenditures relating to geothermal
relocation...."
