Dear Chairman Jacobson and Committee Members,
The Kona County Farm Bureau Board of Directors respectively requests the Hawaii County Council's Committee on
Environmental Management to vote in favor of Resolution 463-08 that serves to support H.B. 1577, H.D.1 in the 2008 State
of Hawaii Legislative Session. This Bill requests a temporary prohibition of field testing of Genetically Modified Coffee for
a period of five years.
