RESOLUTION AU1`HORIZIN(~ THE PAYI1lIENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF
IlAORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOIE A AOIULTI-YEAR LEASE OF A COPIER FOR THE
DEPARTIl~IENT OF PARI~(S & RECREATION
WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other obligation
requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be
approved by resolution; and
WHE~dEAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into amulti-year lease agreement for five (5} years for
one (1) copier for the Department of Parks and Recreation's Coordinated Services for the Elderly; and
W~IEi2i=,~S, their current copier, purchased in 1995, is no longer repairable; and
WHEREAS, a copier is needed for their office operations to service clients and to process fiscal matters.
NOW, TI•P~REFORf=, 13~ IT RESOLVF® BY THE COUNCIL. OF TFIIa COUNTY OF HAWAII:
1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5) year lease agreement of a copier for the
Department of Parks and Recreation's Coordinated Services for the Elderly.
2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the anticipated obligations of the
County under the terms of the agreement.
