RE: Transmittal of Bill 236, Draft 2, Relating to Amending Ordinance No. 96-8 by Amending
the Portion of Condition LA Relating to the Construction of a Barricade or Breakaway
Gate to Prevent the Use of Haleki`i Street as a Vehicular Thoroughfare Prior to the
Opening of the Entire Mamalahoa Bypass
Please find Bill 236, Draft 2 attached. Bill 236, Draft 2 is a result of proposed amendments contained in
Communication No. 997.3 and Communication No. 997.5, with additional amendments proposed to
Communication No. 997.5, that were duly approved during the joint Committee meeting on March 11,
2008.
The additional amendments to Communication No. 997.5 consisted of
I. In the second sentence of Condition LA, adding the word "Extension" to "Haleki`i Street".
2. In Condition L.7(g), deleting the words "the Haleki`i Street Extension" and replacing with
"Kaleiopapa Road"
3. In the first sentence of Condition L.8, adding the word "Extension" to "Haleki'i Street."
4. In Condition L.10(b), deleting the words "bike and".
