Dear Chairman Hoffman and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Judy Ah Chin of Council District 1 to the County of Hawai'i
Pension Board. Ms. Ah Chin is a life-long resident of Hawai'i. She retired as the
Building Permit Supervisor for the County of Hawai'i Department of Public Works,
Building Division, in December 2006.
Ms. Ah Chin is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Hawai'i Island Adult
Day Care, Inc. Ms. Ah Chin states that she is a registered Democrat. If confirmed, she
will serve a term to end on December 31, 2012.
