Subject: Smoke Free Beaches
Aloha-
I am a constituent and would greatly appreciate Bill 224 to be passed in its current
form. It's time for Hawaii to enforce a smoking ban on all beaches in order to keep the
air as clean as possible for all those on the beach. If a person's enjoyment of the
wonderful scenery Hawaii has to offer is obstructed by a cloud of smoke and therefore
leads to conflicts and/or health problems, what better way to stand up for those who
cannot stand up for themselves by passing this bill.
Mahalo,
Megan Blaine
