An open letter to cur Governer,

meeting of record,per State Sen. Avery Cuumleypa meeting covered by both T.V. and

Su it is all there fur you to view and rev".ew and yes "There seems to be very
strong uppositi_cn" but nc,ycu de not need to come over and find cut for yourself
it has been dune for you and any "RE.SENTATION" of yours will not alter anything
only further agitate the situation.
I hunnor your position and mean ne disrespect,but there are many on this Island
that feel that another PRISON on this Island cr the expansion of existing
INSTITUTIONS would only futher that economic level and once that level on ecenemy
is put into place it will be a way of life and be used to cage society's problems
not solve them,all we do is service the effect and it has become quiet apparent
it is not aorking,As Governor I think your first PROPOSAL was the best,SEND THEM
TO THE MAINLAND and let them earn and learn their way back to PARADISE,but also
we must start looking at the LAWS, it i.s not only the failure of the laws,but the
ev a s created by the laws themselves that compound the present dilemma.
What is needed is EETTER LAW and a mere HUMAN APPROACH to solving the problems
that bad laws have created.
If we :.urn the economy around and put it on a positive level of servicing the
the cause,that would be a big industry. Not servicing the cause has put us in
our present position and is the main reason why.we~as a society1can not live
together more humanely and in harmony. I an sure our founding fathers did not
intend for it to come to this and am sure we will be judged by the future,judged
not by our material gains and technical achievements,but rather how we treated
our own,uur children,cur poor I our elderly.
