RE: Resolution to Place the Charter Amendment Proposed by Ordinance No. 08-1 on
the 2008 General Election Ballot (Relating to Establishing Windward and
Leeward Planning Commissions)
Attached is a resolution directing the clerk of the County of Hawaii to take necessary action to
place the charter amendment proposed by ordinance no. 08-1 on the 2008 general election ballot.
It is requested that this matter be placed on the agenda for the May 6, 2008 committee on
planning meeting to be held in West Hawaii. Thank you.
