Re: Operating Budget
The State Department of Transportation Public Affairs - Safe Community Program
is providing an additional funding of $2,920 to the Hawai'i County Police
Department's Traffic Investigation Program. These funds will be used to cover the
higher than anticipated cost of the Visual Statement Diagramming Program. The
additional funding increases the total appropriation from $12,000 to $14,920.
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the
additional funds into the Traffic Investigation Program account.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Hawai'i County Police
Department.
