Dear Chairman Hoffmann and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to inform you that I have nominated Mr. Kale Bob to the County of
Hawaii Tax Board of Review. Mr. Bob is a lifelong resident of Hawaii. He states that
he is a self-employed licensed architect and has been active in real estate development.
Mr. Bob served as a member of the Na Ala Hele, a State of Hawaii (DLNR) Trail and
Access Program, and the Lanai Archeological Committee. He states that he is not
affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, Mr. Bob will serve a term to end on
December 31, 2008, replacing Ms. Claudia Woodward-Rice, who resigned in 2007.
