Subject: NO C-17 Training Routes over populated areas of Big Island!
I strongly oppose the low altitude training flights that are being proposed over populated portions of The Big
Island. My family and I live in Waimea. As you know, it is a beautiful, pastoral setting. The prospect of large
military planes regularly disturbing the peace of our communities is quite unsettling and unacceptable. This is not
an appropriate area for conducting this training! Please support your constituents in North and South Kohala in
protecting our communities from this invasive proposal.
