To Councilmembers Ikeda, Higa, and Naeole.
Shame on you for voting against Bill 257! In what way does that vote support your constituency?
I read in the newspaper the justification that each of you stated for your vote, and it sounds like a thinly
disguised attempt to avoid giving more power to the citizens of this County.
I would ask you to please remember that your constituents ARE the County. If we felt that our concerns were
being adequately addressed by our politicians, there would be no need for this bill.
To the other Council Members who supported this bill, mahalol Please continue to support it so that it can be
put before the voters in November.
