Subject: Bill 224-Smoking Ban at County Parks and Recreation Facilities
Dear Chairman Hoffman and Council Members:
I am a non-smoker, active in the Kona community in a
variety of ways. I request that you respect Mayor Harry Kim with his veto of bill 224 regarding the proposed
Smoking Ban at County Parks and Recreational facilities,
and urge you to amend the bill to include designated smoking areas.
Please accept this as written testimony in oppositon to
Bill 224, and a request to amend. I am 100% supportive of Mayor Kim's veto, and hope for a mutual resolution
that
will benefit the entire community.
