I am writing to express my thoughts about the Hawaii Island Humane Society. I believe the HIRS is
a very valuable and necessary organization for the Big Island of Hawaii. There first priority is the
welfare of the animals. The HIHS does this in a very professional and effective manner.
There many programs benefit the animals greatly, I personally was involved with fostering an
abandoned puppy until he was healthy enough to be adopted. It is the HM's caring attitude and
effectiveness that makes me fed it is my responsibility to let you know my feelings about the RES.
