Your Committee on Public Works and Intcrgovermnentul Relations, to which was referred
Communication No. 22 and attached Bill No. 6. reports as follows:
The purpose of Bill No. 6 is to amend Chapter 24, article 10, division I. sections 24-257. 260
and schedules 5 and 8, relating to Vchides and 'traffic by adding a 35 mile per hour speed limit
for the following terminus:
I) Mohouli Street from Komohana Street to Kino'ole Slrcet
2) Mohouli Street. Uluwai Street to KaCunana Drive
3) Mohouli Street Komohana Street to Uluwai Street
Communication No. 22 is fi~om Deputy Director of Public Works Ronald Ucoka, dated
November 26.2002, transmitting the above bill for Council consideration. According to
Mr. Ueoka, the proposed amendment conforms to the approved Mohouli Sweet 1?xtension project
construction plans and specifications for Federal Aid Project No. S"fP-2790 (1).
Your Committee is in accordance with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 6 and recommends that
it pass first reading.
