No. 113 Council Chair and Members I lawai'i County Council Hilo, Hawaii 96730 Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication No. I 1 ;-reports as Ii~Ilows: Communication No. 1 13, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, dated January I5, 2003, authorizes the acceptance of a donation from the Bank of Hawaii, Kaiko'o Branch. The Bank of Hawaii, Kaiko'o Branch has graciously donated two wall tapestries to the llepartment of Public Works for public display within the Aupuni Center Complex. The value of this donation is estimated at $900.00. Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12. I lavvai'i County Charter, the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property. nlso, pursuant to Chapter ?, nrtidc 30, Section 2-162 (c), of die liawai'i County Code, any donation or gift which does nol fall within the capitalization procedures of the department of lnance shall be submitted to the council by letter Ibr its approval. A letter of appreciation will be sent to the Bank of I IaNai'i. Kaiko'o Branch. Arthur K.
