Your Committee on Parks & Environmental Management. to which was referred Communication
No. 80, reports as follows:
Communication No. 80 is transmitted by Mayor Harry Kim, dated December 23.2003, submitting
ibr confirmation the nomination of Mr. Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D.. to the Hawaii County Veterans
Advisory Committee.
Dole E. Wilson, Ph.D. is a retired book editor and member of the Military Order of the Purple
Heart, Hilo Chapter 731. Dr. Wilson previously served as a tactical officer at the Valley Forge
Military Academy and also served on a committee for Congressman Curt Welson of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Wilson states that he is affiliated with the Republican Party and. it confirmed, will ser~c a term
to expire December 31.2004.
Pursuant to Chapter 15, Article 7. Section I5-61, llawai'i County Code. as amended, there shall be
a Veterans Advisory Committee composed of fifteen members, who shall be appointed by the
Mavor and confirmed by the Council.
Your Committee on Parks and Environmental Management recommends contrmation of
Mr. Dale E. Wilson Ph.D., to the Hawaii County Veterans Advisory Committee to serve a term to
expire December 31, 2004.
