These additional funds will be used Rrr the Hilo Wastewater'freatment Plant Biotower Pump
Replacement ($800,000) to replace die four hiotower pumps which convey Flow from the
primary to the secondary treatment. $300,000 will he used for the King Kamehameha Sewage
Pump Station Modifications to complete the renovations since structural damage has been
identified during design and will reyuirc extensive modifications.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. i4 and
recommends it pass first reading.
