The State Legislature approved a one time lump sum bonus of $200 for each retiree who is
seventy years of age and older and this payment was made to County of Hawaii retirees by the
State of Hawaii Employces Retirement System (ERS). 7~he appropriation reflects the total
bonus payment for County of Hawaii ERS retirees.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 47-03
and recommends its adoption.
