dated March 1 R, 2003. amends Ordinance No. 02-76. as amended. the Operating Budget ending
June 30. 2003. The amendment is as follows:

3609.10 Fund Balance From Prior Year Park Dedication $17,334.67
To:
290-801-5801.42 Transfer to Capital Projects Fund Park Dedication $17.334.67
l~hcse funds will be used Ibr the additional improvements at the Keaukaha Gym. which is
currently under construction.
Your Committee Members expressed concerns about the legal use of these funds as it appears
they were intended for specific park areas. Pam Mizuno, Deputy Director of Parks and
Recreation advised Your Committee that she will look into this matter prior to the next Council
meeting.
For informational purposes. Mr. "fyler and Ms. Leithead-Todd voted kanalua twice.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. R 1 and
recommends it pass tirst reading.
