Communication No. 197. dated March 24, 2003. authorizes the acceptance ofa donation of
computers From the State of Hawaii, Department of Human Services. East Hawaii l init.
The State of Hawaii, Department o1 Human Services, East Hawaii Unit has graciously donated
sis Dell computers to the Office of the Corporation Counsel to increase the response time.
increase productivity and improve staff morale. Each llell computer is complete with keyboard,
mouse, colored monitor and central processing unit. "I~he value of this donation is estimated at
S 1.800.00.
Pursuant to Article Xlli. Section li-12. Hawaii County Charter_ the ('ouncil. on behall of the
County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property.
A letter of appreciation mill be sent to the State of I{aN~ai'i. Department of t luman Services. Fast
Hawaii Unit, acknowledging this generous donation.
